The CBC Team is deeply saddened by the loss of our longtime volunteer and friend, Bert McMillan. He passed away last weekend and will be missed by us all – including his beautiful dog, Cali. A staple in many taprooms including ours, Bert was well known between here and Raleigh for his love of beer and music. For those that knew him, Bert was full of stories and friendship no matter who you were. He was always a smiling face on canning days, events, or anywhere there was beer. Bert, you’ll be sorely missed by us all. We will be hosting any friends and family who would like to celebrate his memory Thursday, October 26th at 4PM. You can find his obituary at the link below.
